Doug Kingsmore Stadium Addition

DP3 Architects and SYS Constructors were selected to head the first design-build project under the Office of the State Engineer in Clemson University’s history. With schematic design already in place from an existing study, DP3 and SYS were responsible for putting together a strong team with knowledge of Clemson’s campus to work.

At the request of Clemson University, the team looked beyond the original scope to include other areas of the existing baseball stadium to create a more cohesive project for Clemson Baseball. In doing this, it creates a stadium that will serve Clemson for many years to come. The project includes concessions areas, restroom facilities, concourse area, and a new champion’s entry courtyard. The stadium viewing area provides seating for 1,000 and is partially covered.
