Inland Port Greer
100 International Commerce Blvd Greer, SC
SC Ports is a top 10 U.S. container port that is responsible for 1 in 10 SC jobs and generates a $63.4 billion economic impact on South Carolina each year. Inland Port Greer is a facility in Upstate South Carolina that extends the Port of Charleston’s reach by 212 miles inland via railroad to ensure the swift movement of goods for customers.
The Inland Port Greer facility has experienced unprecedented growth that has led them to out-pace their original five year plan. This success resulted in a partnership with DP3 Architects to address their expansion needs. The scope of this project includes construction of a new approximately 7,830 SF Terminal Operations Building (TOB), a new approximately 11,055 SF Heavy Lift Maintenance Building (HLMB) building and North Chassis lot. The TOB will exist outside of the security gate and will house personnel and provide a two-story view that oversees the whole property. The HLMB is specially sized to contain the new oversized container lifts and other equipment and personnel. DP3 Architects looks forward to working with Inland Port Greer to set them up for continued success and efficient supply chain movement.
