Mariachis

Marichis, the first Mexican restaurant in Lancaster, SC established in 1996, is partnering with DP3 Architects to design a new location. The new free standing full-service Mexican restaurant and bar will seat 112 and feature an all-season patio. The owner envisioned a space with traditional cantina design elements, but with a modern twist. Working closely with the owner, DP3 Architects carefully chose tile and lighting finishes that would give a nod to the ornate and rustic Mexican aesthetic. The design team worked to find the balance between an upscale space with sleek modern design contrasted with more traditional materials.

The restaurant is expected to open its doors in Summer 2025, marking a new chapter for Mariachis as it continues to serve the Lancaster community.
