Simpsonville Summary Court

Greenville County
Simpsonville, SC

DP3 Architects is partnering with Greenville County and the City of Simpsonville to design a new Summary Court that will move the city’s magistrate court operations from the current aging Fairview – Austin location to more spacious and modern facility. The new location on East Curtis Street will adapt the existing Greenville County Magistrate Court prototype to accommodate site specific court space needs along with the addition of Simpsonville Municipal Court space needs under the same roof. The new building will be 15,050-square-feet and provide the City of Simpsonville with enough space to accommodate the growing community.

This new building will sit adjacent to the recently announced Municipal Complex at City Park in Simpsonville, SC. It will fit seamlessly into the landscape of the complex, which will include new facilities for the Simpsonville city hall, the police department, and fire station headquarters. Of the new complex, Simpsonville Mayor Paul Shewmaker says, “These new buildings will serve our community for decades if not centuries to come. They will not only provide essential services and resources for our community, but will also become a center of civic pride for us.” DP3 Architects is proud to be part of this historic redevelopment effort for the City of Simpsonville.
