What once served as one of the world’s  largest cotton mills in the early 1900’s,  is now home to luxury apartments and the state-of-the-art fitness facility, Elite Total Fitness. While the 6,000+ square foot space has a deep history in the city of Simpsonville, nothing about this location is dated.

From the cryotherapy treatment tubs to the senaptec sensory training, this gym is cutting edge and takes clients to the next level in their fitness journey.

This facility is geared to the modern athlete and needed an interior design to reinforce Elite’s brand and mission. DP3 Architects had the opportunity to partner with Elite Total Fitness to bring their vision to reality. Every detail in this space was designed with intention to be functional and inspiring. The group fitness space, the cryotherapy treatment room, indoor track pad, and staircase locker storage all work cohesively together to create a contemporary look. Notice the use of hexagons throughout the space. This shape adds a level of geometrical sophistication and intrigue in design that elevates the overall aesthetic.

When designing boutique fitness spaces, it’s important to understand the brand’s unique mission and incorporate their story within the design. Elite Total Fitness is more than just a gym, but a high-end experience and supportive community. Staffed with former professional athletes and life-long health enthusiasts, they are stopping at nothing to help clients achieve their goals in personal training, sports performance, group fitness, and athletic recovery.
