DP3 Architects provided design services to renovate a classroom in Furman University’s Hipp Hall into the Joe and Diana Hurley Finance and Business Analytics Lab. Integrated technology in the completed lab simulates a stock market environment for students. The lab provides students with hands-on, real-time training with “big data” in business analytics for use in a variety of applications.

In addition, the lab’s video conferencing capabilities connect students with business executives and leaders all over the world. Students have the opportunity to seek advice about the data they are studying as well as have the chance to ask broader questions regarding current events and pressing issues in the business world.
